Mollymook's Record $10m Home Now Available for Rent at $2550 Per Week

A South Coast home that set a suburb record with its $10 million sale price in 2021 is now being offered for rent. The property at 15 Shipton Crescent, Mollymook, is listed at $2550 per week, according to online listings.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home sits on 1167 square metres and backs onto Collers Beach, offering direct beach access and uninterrupted ocean views. Features include a study, sun-filled living areas, a panoramic ocean-view terrace, pool, sauna, and low-maintenance gardens. The main suite has an ensuite, private balcony, and direct pool access, along with a double garage and ample board storage.

The home made headlines in 2021 during the COVID property boom when its $10 million sale more than doubled the previous record for the suburb. It returned to the market in 2024 but was passed in at auction for $9.25 million and later withdrawn from sale. Last year, it was relisted with new agents, Murry Conran and Paul McDonald of First National Real Estate Ulladulla.

The rental listing notes that the property is currently listed for sale. However, the for-sale listing has been removed from major online platforms. Agent Paul McDonald declined to comment on whether the property had been withdrawn from sale.

The original house was featured in Home Beautiful magazine in the 1990s and underwent extensive renovations in 2008. The property is located on the southern side of Mollymook, minutes from dining and amenities.
