Four arson attacks that occurred overnight in Torquay are believed to be connected, according to Devon and Cornwall Police. The fires, which took place between 01:00 and 03:45 GMT in the Ellacombe area, involved a car, a shed, a wheelie bin, and a lean-to attached to a house.
No injuries were reported in any of the incidents. Police have stated that arson attacks are unusual in the area and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The fires were started at locations on Mount Pleasant Road, Braddons Hill Road West, Ash Hill Road, and Windsor Road. Authorities are investigating the possibility that the same individual or group is responsible for all four fires.
