A search for a missing toddler in Bundaberg has ended in tragedy. The three-year-old boy was reported missing from Central Avenue in Thabeban on Tuesday afternoon.
Police located the child unresponsive in a family car on the property shortly before 9:30pm. Emergency services were called, but the boy could not be revived.
His death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
