The beauty industry's latest celebrity partnership has arrived with the force of a perfectly timed TikTok trend.
Kendall Jenner Named First Global Ambassador for Anua
Viral Korean skincare brand Anua has officially announced Kendall Jenner as its first-ever global ambassador, sending beauty fans straight into detective mode over the exact products featured in the campaign.
Front and centre is the Anua PDRN Collagen Glow Facial Serum Spray, a glossy facial mist that promises the kind of hydrated, dewy skin usually associated with expensive facials, strategic lighting and a genetics lottery win.
Now, thanks to Amazon Australia’s Mid-Year Sale, shoppers can grab the cult mist for $29.75 instead of $36.
The Campaign and Social Media Reaction
The campaign itself leans heavily into the “glass skin” aesthetic K-beauty has become famous for, with Jenner repeatedly spritzing the product throughout the video while admiring her glow in the mirror. At one point she says, “My skin probably needs my PDRN, and look at my glow, this glow is all Anua’s PDRN”.
It did not take long for social media to respond. One commenter admitted, “I bought Anua spray only because I saw Kendall using one before she came an ambassador”. Another reaction was less enthusiastic, with one user writing, “Since you are an international Korean brand, it would be a great idea to promote your brand through popular Korean celebrities. For example, global stars like Lisa or well-known Korean actors and actresses could help increase your brand’s visibility, credibility, and appeal in the international market.”
Still, backlash or not, the collaboration has already succeeded in doing exactly what beauty partnerships are designed to do. People are talking about the products.
Product Review: Anua PDRN Collagen Glow Facial Serum Spray
The Anua PDRN Collagen Glow Facial Serum Spray has become one of my winter beauty essentials. The ultra-fine mist delivers instant hydration without leaving skin sticky or greasy, which feels particularly important once Sydney’s colder weather starts sucking every last drop of moisture from your face. I use it before makeup to prep my skin, after makeup to melt everything together and throughout the day whenever my face starts looking tired or dry.
It has also become a bedside table staple before sleep because the finish leaves skin looking noticeably fresher by morning. The formula contains PDRN 2,000ppm alongside hyaluronic acid and collagen, designed to support hydration and give skin a firmer, glowier appearance.
What makes it stand out from some heavier glow mists is the texture. It is water-based, lightweight and disappears into the skin almost instantly. There are no awkward wet patches or oily residue lingering on top of makeup, which means it works equally well for mid-afternoon office touch-ups, flights, gym bags or those moments when your face suddenly looks like it has emotionally given up.
The Rise of Facial Mists and Celebrity Endorsements
The rise of facial mists has been impossible to ignore over the past year, particularly as beauty trends shift away from ultra-matte makeup and towards healthy, luminous skin. Products that promise the “clean girl” glow have dominated TikTok, with consumers increasingly chasing hydration-focused skincare that works both under and over makeup.
Anua already had strong beauty community credibility before Kenny entered the picture, but celebrity endorsement pushes a viral product into the stratosphere. Suddenly it is not just a skincare recommendation. It becomes part of a lifestyle fantasy.
And while nobody truly believes a single mist can transform them into Kendall Jenner overnight, a glowing complexion for under $30 during a sale feels close enough.
Amazon Australia’s Mid Year Sale kicked off on Monday 1 June at 12 pm AEST and runs until Sunday 7 June 2026 at 11:59pm AEST, with deals across beauty, home, electronics, books and more. Judging by social media reaction alone, this particular K-beauty buy may not stay in stock for long.
