King Charles has extended an olive branch to Prince Harry, offering royal accommodation for his upcoming UK visit. The Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle have not yet responded to the offer for their family to stay on the royal estate next month.
Details of the Visit
Prince Harry will be in London and Birmingham between July 6 and 10 for a series of events and patronages, including the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027. This will be the first UK visit in four years for young Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who have not seen their grandfather since before His Majesty’s coronation.
Prince Harry previously said such a visit was impossible due to a lengthy court battle over bodyguards and security, which he lost. However, those issues now appear to have been resolved.
Royal Estate Offer
King Charles has offered Prince Harry and his family accommodation on the royal estate for an upcoming UK trip. The Duke has reportedly scheduled pockets of downtime during the five-day family trip. Royal sources say despite the King’s busy schedule, the family should be able to come together. Their last meeting spanned just 45 minutes.
Healing Wounds
Time appears to be healing the deep wounds in the Windsor family, though there is no word on any catch-ups planned between Harry and his brother, the Prince of Wales.
