Farmer Dylan Reveals Unseen Ally Plea After Kiss Drama on Farmer Wants A Wife
Farmer Dylan's Unseen Plea to Ally After Kiss Drama

Farmer Dylan has revealed what viewers didn't see after his kiss with Keeley prompted Ally to leave the farm in a dramatic exit on Farmer Wants A Wife. Speaking to 7NEWS.com.au, the South Australian sheep farmer disclosed a final plea he made to Ally when cameras weren't rolling.

Unseen Final Plea to Ally

Before Ally left, Dylan made one last attempt to convince her to stay. “I told her you got to come back because Indy, my dog, misses her,” Dylan said. “And Ally loves Indy. But Ally said she needed more time to think.” He added, “I told her, if this is going to work I need you to come back. But I didn't know what she was going to do and I had to tell myself to focus on the connections I had with the other girls.”

Dylan also shared that he tore part of Ally's letter and gave her a piece to keep, an emotional moment not shown on screen.

The Kiss That Sparked Fallout

The drama unfolded after Dylan shared a kiss with Keeley during their date, which did not sit well with the other women, especially Ally. Dylan admitted he never expected the fallout to be so significant. “I didn't think it would evolve into what happened,” he said. “It felt right at the time and I suppose it was at a point in the experience where all the emotions, everything's getting heightened.”

After discovering the kiss, Ally left a note explaining her decision to leave. Dylan said he understood her reaction but never expected her to walk away, believing the situation could have been resolved with a conversation.

Emotional Impact on Dylan

Dylan acknowledged the kiss may have undermined his previous declarations of feelings for Ally. “The kiss with Keeley would've given Ally the impression that what I told her was a lie,” he said. He explained he was trying to navigate his connections without making Keeley or Scarlett feel like he had already made a decision. “I knew if I went looking for her after she'd left then the other girls might think that there's no point in them being here. I tried hard to put on a front but it did hurt when she left, because I had got to know Ally so well. And then she left — I was just a bit stunned really.”

Initially, Dylan was determined not to chase Ally. “If you don't want to be here, you don't want to be here,” he said. “If things get tough, you're just going to leave?” But after letting the situation “simmer,” he realised his feelings were too strong to ignore. “I couldn't just let it run away, I had to chase it.”

Awkward Confrontation and Ultimatum

Despite being hurt, Dylan went after Ally, but the conversation felt uncomfortable and like an ultimatum. “It felt like I was playing a game,” Dylan said. “She wanted reassurance about my feelings for her, like she always does. To be honest, it was really awkward when I went to see her. I remember sitting down and it didn't feel like a normal sit down with Ally. It felt like it was like a borderline ultimatum and that didn't really sit well with me either.” He added, “But it was one of those things where it was like I didn't really know what was there until it was gone. Once she was gone, I wanted her back — I fell back into the tunnel vision.”

Dylan acknowledged chasing after Ally wasn't fair to Keeley or Scarlett, and despite his plea, Ally chose to stay away.

Ally's Perspective: Protecting Herself

Speaking to 7NEWS.com.au, Ally explained her decision to leave. She said she still needed more time to decide what she wanted to do. While she didn't believe Dylan did anything wrong and understood he needed to follow his own process, seeing him develop a romantic connection with another woman was “terrifying.”

“I felt like Dylan and I had established a certain level of connection, so seeing a new romantic connection develop that late in the experience was super confronting,” Ally said. “And with the kiss, which was kind of ultimately the thing that kicked me over the edge, it wasn't about comparing myself to Keeley at all. Keeley's amazing and I'm so glad she joined us on the farm. It was more about where I was emotionally at that point in the journey. I was incredibly vulnerable and it was terrifying. My feelings for him were very real and when I felt that certainty wasn't being reflected back to me I became scared.”

When asked if leaving was a test or a way to create space, Ally said, “For me, it was about being honest in what I needed to feel security in moving forward, especially in such a vulnerable situation. I felt like I needed to leave and I was honest about what would make me feel safe enough to come back, which was Dylan showing me that he had intentions with me. So it was also some space as well, because I feel like I left in a place of hurt.” She added that she knew there was a chance Dylan wouldn't come after her, but she was willing to take that risk to protect herself and gain clarity.
