Saxophones Turn Down Simpsons Cameo
British indie band Saxophones have revealed they turned down a script for a cameo on The Simpsons, according to an interview with NME. The band's frontman, Tom Smith, said the offer came in 2024 but they declined because the storyline didn't align with their artistic vision. 'We were flattered, but the script had us playing at a Springfield talent show against a rival band. It felt too gimmicky,' Smith explained.
