Jules Neale has been seen without her wedding ring during a night out with friends in Perth, as she continues to rebuild her life following her marriage breakdown. The 35-year-old hair stylist shared photos on Instagram of her evening at La Lune restaurant in Fremantle with close friend Lizzie Brayshaw and another companion.
The images show the trio with wine glasses, celebrating together. One close-up photo of their hands reveals Jules is not wearing a ring on her wedding ring finger. Jules captioned the post with a crescent moon, cocktail glass, and stars emojis, and responded to comments with “YTG” and a flaming heart emoji, likely meaning “Yeah, the Girls”.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Jules’ husband, former Brisbane Lions captain Lachie Neale, was allegedly having an affair with her former friend Tess Crosley. Lachie has since moved into a Brisbane apartment and returned to pre-season training, while Jules returned to Perth with the couple’s two children.
Jules has been sharing images that show her moving on, including a previous post of herself in a blue bikini without her wedding ring. Tess Crosley and her husband Ben have also been spotted without their wedding rings. The affair reportedly came to light when another Lions player’s partner caught Lachie and Tess in a car and informed Jules.
Lachie Neale addressed the drama earlier this month, stepping down as co-captain of the club. When asked directly if he had cheated, he responded, “No I can’t address those rumours,” and expressed having “regrets” about his personal life.
