Zendaya Channels Goddess Athena in Schiaparelli Gown

Zendaya's Schiaparelli Gown Flown Directly from Paris Runway

Zendaya turned heads at the world premiere of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey in London, wearing a dramatic Schiaparelli gown that had been on the runway in Paris just hours earlier. The 29-year-old actress embodied the goddess Athena, whom she plays in the film, with a white corset sculpted in the form of the female body and a fringed skirt made of cascading white and clear beads illuminated from within.

Stylist Law Roach orchestrated the last-minute feat, attending the Schiaparelli show at Place Vendôme during Paris Haute Couture Week and then rushing the gown to London via private jet. Speaking to French creator Elias Medini, also known as Lyas, at the show, Roach revealed the scramble. Lyas posted a video on Instagram showing Roach and pointing at a model wearing the dress, saying, “You chose this look for a premiere tonight.” Roach replied, “Yes, I flew in last night to come to the show; I have a private jet waiting for me.”

Zendaya's Complete Look and Red Carpet Appearance

Zendaya accessorized with a sparkling five-strand diamond necklace that coordinated with her wedding rings from husband Tom Holland, who stars in the film as Telemachus. Her makeup featured snowy, sparkly eyeshadow, and her braided hairstyle added to the warrior aesthetic. Shortly after the red carpet, she changed into a gauzy Valentino gown with leaf appliqués, rib cutouts, and a pleated skirt, channeling a different Grecian look.
