Nicole Kidman has taken to social media to reveal a picture of herself rocking her rarely-seen, natural curly locks. The Aussie actress, who often sports long, cascading blonde locks when attending red carpet events and fronting blockbuster films, decided to embrace her natural hair in a picture posted to Instagram on Sunday.
'Weekend Vibes,' she captioned the post, which showed her looking relaxed as ever on a countryside getaway. Wearing sneakers, a button-up shirt and jeans, the 58-year-old paired her laidback ensemble with her untamed golden tresses while leaning against a fence.
Fans flooded the comments section of the post with praise for the Hollywood star's eau-natural look. 'I love her natural hair,' one person wrote, while another chimed in: 'Weekend curls at that!' 'Your curly hair Nicole,' one fan pointed out. Another person sweetly dubbed her: 'Curly Nic!!!' 'Gorgeous hair,' one fan shared, while another gushed: 'The curls are back.'
Kidman has long been known to wear an incredible assortment of wigs, ranging from waist-length curls to short pixie cuts. The Babygirl star has admitted to wearing wigs in the past, revealing on Channel Seven's Sunrise last year that she 'loves changing' her hair.
However, that same year, she suffered a major wig malfunction at the Cannes Film Festival that sparked chatter on social media. Kidman arrived at the 2025 Kering Women In Motion Awards and Presidential Dinner when photographers captured the faux pas. Pictures showed the actress' mesh cap peeking through the hairline of her voluminous hairpiece as she posed for pictures on the red carpet.
In January, Kidman finalised her divorce with Keith Urban, 58, after announcing their separation in September 2025. The couple were together for over twenty years and welcomed two daughters - Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15 - before calling it quits.
