Perth-raised Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Faith Ward was taken aback on Saturday afternoon when a group of young girls gathered outside her luxury accommodation at Crown Towers, hoping to catch a glimpse of the homegrown reality TV star. Ward, who is back in Perth visiting family and enjoying downtime after a hectic NFL schedule and a New York press tour, was visibly surprised by the unexpected fan encounter.
Fan Encounter at Crown Towers
Wearing a white sports-style jacket adorned with the iconic navy blue DCC star, flared black leggings, and a Christian Dior saddle bag, Ward graciously signed cowboy hats and t-shirts for the young fans at the valet of Crown Towers. She also happily posed for a photo with the girls, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers.
Homecoming Joy
Speaking to Bunbury-raised Sunrise presenter Nat Barr on Friday, Ward expressed her delight in reconnecting with loved ones. "Oh my goodness, I'm so happy to be home for a little bit; spending time with friends and family is just the perfect way to reset and just, you know, embrace the Aussie culture again. I'm so happy to be home," she said.
Ward, 23, stars in the third season of the Netflix documentary series America's Sweethearts, which follows ambitious dancers vying for a spot on the iconic cheerleading squad. She noted that she is still waiting to "wake up from this crazy dream" and believes hard work will serve her well as she prepares to return to the US for DCC training camp.
The young fans' surprise appearance highlights Ward's growing popularity back home, as she balances her career with cherished time in Australia.
