Hundreds of guests gathered at RAC Arena as the US Consulate Perth celebrated the 250th anniversary of America's independence with a county fair showcasing the best of the United States in Western Australia.
Fairground Fun and Exhibitions
The event featured fairground food and activities including arcade games and a petting zoo, plus exhibitions highlighting US-WA partnerships in business, defence, science, sports and the arts.

Lighting Campaign Across Australia
In celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a lighting campaign is set to take place across Australia this weekend to highlight the friendship between the two nations. Perth buildings and infrastructure to be illuminated in red, white and blue include the City of Perth council house, Graham Farmer Freeway tunnel, Great Northern Highway, Joondalup Drive bridge, Matagarup Bridge, Mount Street pedestrian bridge and the Sky Ribbon Gateway Bridge at the Perth Airport entry on Tonkin Highway.
