Merse Wellness Spa is set to open a second location in Claremont, Western Australia, featuring a dedicated snow room as a centerpiece of its luxury recovery and relaxation experience. The 900-square-metre site will expand the business less than a year after its inaugural space launched in Osborne Park last October.
Snow Room and New Features
The snow room, which produces real snow, allows guests to gradually cool down between sessions in the sauna, steam room, or magnesium spa. Founders Bianca Marshall and Julia Tilli described the experience as immersive and calming, supporting circulation, recovery, and nervous system regulation. In addition to the snow room, the Claremont venue will offer reformer Pilates, cold plunge pools, refreshment zones, relaxation areas, and a cafe.
Rapid Expansion Driven by Demand
The expansion follows strong community response to the Osborne Park site, which opened in October 2025. Marshall and Tilli noted that Perth’s appetite for wellness experiences is growing. “Modern lifestyles are incredibly fast paced, and people are looking for ways to slow down, recover, reconnect and feel better,” they said. They attributed growth to listening to member feedback and refining the experience accordingly.
Fifth Location in Australia
The Claremont centre will be Merse’s fifth in Australia, joining three spas in Queensland. Marshall and Tilli said Claremont was a natural fit due to the western suburbs’ emphasis on health and lifestyle. “Claremont is also one of Perth’s premium lifestyle suburbs, so the area aligns strongly with the elevated experience we aim to create at Merse,” they said. They aim to create a wellness destination for everyday routines, not just occasional visits.
Future Plans
There are plans to expand further into locations on both sides of the Swan River. Merse Wellness Spa is scheduled to open in Claremont in the summer of 2026.
