Officeworks has launched a fresh wave of permanent price reductions on hundreds of products, offering Australians another opportunity to save on home office essentials, school supplies, and everyday items. The move follows an earlier commitment this year that lowered prices on more than 1,000 products, expanding the retailer's long-term value push.
Key Savings on Furniture and Stationery
Available in stores and online from this week, the latest price drops span furniture, stationery, and other workplace essentials. Notable deals include the Reine 2 Drawer High Gloss White Desk, now priced at $269 (down from $299), and the Otto Kronborg Ergonomic Chair in grey, reduced to $179 from $199. In the stationery aisle, the Stabilo Boss Highlighters Pastel Assorted 4 Pack has dropped to $9 (from $11), while the ColourHide A4 Zip Binder 2-D Sky Blue is now $6.50 (down from $8).
Responding to Cost-of-Living Pressures
The price cuts reflect changing shopping habits as Australians prioritise value amid ongoing cost-of-living pressures. Officeworks Managing Director John Gualtieri said, “With rising everyday costs continuing to squeeze household and business budgets, customers want dependable value on the products they rely on. We are seeing our customers shop more intentionally, making purchases more often, however paying close attention to what they are putting in their baskets. That’s why locking in lower prices on everyday essentials can make quite a difference in the long term.”
Permanent Reductions Offer Flexibility
Unlike limited-time sales, permanent price reductions give shoppers the flexibility to purchase when it suits their budget without worrying about missing a promotional window. The expanded range covers desks, ergonomic seating, filing solutions, and stationery, aiming to help budget-conscious households stretch their dollars further without compromising on quality.
