Third Person Charged in Central Coast Road Rage Incident

Police have charged a third person in connection with a road rage incident on the New South Wales central coast that went viral on social media. The incident occurred on Monday along the Pacific Highway in Lake Munmorah.

The newly charged individual is a 23-year-old woman from Salt Ash, believed to be the driver of the silver Ford ute in which the victim was a passenger. She faces charges including driving in a manner dangerous to the public, malicious damage, not complying with 'P' licence conditions, and driving with an unrestrained passenger.

Earlier, a 41-year-old man was charged on Wednesday with assault occasioning actual bodily harm after footage showed him punching a woman in the face during the altercation. On Thursday, a 21-year-old woman attended Wyong Police Station and was charged with malicious damage, being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, intentionally throwing an object at a vehicle, and having part of her body outside the car window.

The female driver has been granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Wyong Local Court on August 16. Police allege the incident began when two cars stopped at an intersection, leading to an argument between the man and at least one woman in the ute.
