Milk Allergen Prompts Recall of Frozen Sorbet in Perth

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) has issued a recall for Family Select frozen sorbet sold in Perth due to an undeclared milk allergen. The recall affects mango, strawberry, and lychee flavours of the 75g sorbet, which are shaped to resemble the fruit.

The affected products have best before dates up to and including June 22, 2027. FSANZ warned that consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance may experience a reaction if they consume the sorbet.

The sorbet was sold at Spudshed stores in Western Australia and online. FSANZ advised customers to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund and to seek medical advice if concerned about their health.
