DroneShield Directors Offload $70 Million in Shares

Over the course of a week, the CEO, chairman, and director of DroneShield sold their shares in the defence company for around $70 million. The sell-off has sent the stock sliding this month.

Governance experts have raised concerns about the remuneration of directors, and the subsequent potential conflicts of interest. The sales have prompted scrutiny of the company's internal policies.

DroneShield Chair Mr Peter James provided a statement to the ASX, saying: 'DroneShield is committed to undertaking an independent review of its continuous disclosure and securities trading policies and other areas ... it reflects DroneShield's commitment to transparency and continuous improvement as the company grows.'
