Power Restored After Outage Affecting Over 1800 Properties in Bulli, Woonona, and Dapto

A power outage that left more than 1800 homes and businesses without electricity in Woonona, Bulli, and Dapto has been resolved, according to Endeavour Energy.

The outage began at 2:20am in Dapto and at 4:39am in Woonona and Bulli on Thursday, March 5. By 6:30am, 974 properties north of Campbell Street and west of the Princes Highway remained affected, with the outage extending across Slacky Creek and north to Woodlands Creek. In Dapto, 47 properties around Tallawong Crescent and Burke Road were impacted.

Endeavour Energy crews were investigating the cause of the outage by 7am, with power estimated to be restored in Dapto by 9:30am and in Woonona and Bulli by 10am. An Endeavour Energy spokeswoman stated that multiple faults in the network led to unstable power supply in some areas.

By the time of reporting, power had been fully restored to all affected properties.
