Tottenham target Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes
Tottenham Hotspur are intensifying their pursuit of Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali and have entered the race for West Ham United's Mateus Fernandes. The north London club is prepared to meet Newcastle's hefty valuation for the Italy international, while also seeking to outbid Manchester United for Fernandes, a 21-year-old Portuguese midfielder who joined West Ham from Southampton for £38 million last summer.
West Ham, who have been relegated from the Premier League, are expected to lose Fernandes. Manchester United and Real Madrid have also shown interest, but Tottenham are pushing hard and are ready to offer better financial terms than their rivals.
