Qantas has slashed prices on more than one million tickets in a massive sale on flights across the country. The national carrier launched the sale on Wednesday, discounting 1.4 million domestic economy seats on travel dates between July 22, 2026 and May 23, 2027.
Discounted fares starting at $105
One-way tickets on 33 routes are available for less than $150, and on 59 routes for less than $200. Major discounted flights include Sydney to Byron Bay for $105, Melbourne to Adelaide and Hobart for $129, Sydney to the Gold Coast for $129, and Sydney to Qantas Link regional service areas (Armidale, Tamworth, Coffs, Dubbo, Port Mac, Wagga Wagga, Albury) for $149. Flying between some state capitals could cost as little as $129.
Qantas CEO encourages early booking
Qantas Domestic chief executive Markus Svensson said the carrier was “making it easier to plan ahead”. “Whether it’s a trip away for school holidays, Christmas or Easter, booking early means one less thing to worry about,” Mr Svensson said. “With 190 routes across almost 60 destinations on sale, there’s something for everyone, from coastal escapes to outback adventures, there’s no shortage of reasons to book.”
The sale will run until 11.59pm on June 16, unless sold out prior. Travellers are encouraged to book early to secure the best deals.
