A woman's body has been discovered along a busy stretch of the Gold Coast coastline.
A member of the public found the young woman deceased in the water at Crystal Beach on Golden Four Drive at Tugun at approximately 11:30am on Thursday, according to police.
Investigators are currently working to identify the woman and determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
