Two charged over shocking Perth road rage incident

Two men have been charged following a shocking alleged road rage incident in Perth that the police minister has described as 'probably one of the worst cases of road rage I have seen'. The confrontation unfolded at the intersection of Leach Highway and Abernethy Road in Kewdale just before 9am on Wednesday.

Details of the incident

A damaged car was blocking the intersection when it was struck again by a Mercedes. A man was pictured jumping out of the way as the stationary car was hit. The Mercedes then continued, slamming into a traffic light.

Police allege the two men involved know each other and had just been in a physical fight. One man was allegedly armed with a hammer, while the other is accused of using a baseball bat.
