In a shocking incident at a suburban Melbourne shopping centre, three teenage men have been charged following a violent brawl between two groups. The altercation, which allegedly involved a machete, a baseball bat, and a hockey stick, took place at the Linsell Boulevard centre in Clyde North on May 31.

Details of the Incident

The melee involved up to four teenagers, but by the time police arrived at the scene, all participants had already fled. Authorities later arrested one suspect at a home on Lineham Drive in the neighbouring suburb of Cranbourne East on Wednesday. Two other individuals subsequently surrendered at a local police station and were taken into custody.

Charges Laid

All three suspects, aged 18, have been charged with intentionally causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury, affray, and weapons offences. They are scheduled to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
