A man has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after being electrocuted at a worksite southwest of Brisbane. The man, aged in his 40s, was reportedly working at industrial agricultural business Dickson Ag, located on Antimony Street in Carole Park, Ipswich, when the incident occurred at approximately 1:45 PM on Tuesday.
Emergency Response
Multiple police units and fire trucks were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance. Paramedics treated the man at the site for critical injuries before transporting him to Princess Alexandra Hospital. His condition remains critical.

This incident follows a similar tragedy in Melbourne one day earlier, where a man died after being electrocuted at a building site. The man, believed to be in his 50s, was working on a scissor lift when it came into contact with overhead power lines on Geelong Road in Laverton North on Monday. Emergency services were called, but the man could not be revived and died at the scene.
