Police are investigating after the body of a person was discovered near the side of Goldfields Highway in Kalgoorlie-Boulder on Friday morning.
Emergency Services Respond
Emergency services arrived at the scene on the highway near the Roberts Street intersection after the deceased person was found just before 10am. The Kalgoorlie Miner reported that police were seen searching the bushland in the area.
Investigation Underway
Police have stated that officers have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. Authorities are working to determine the identity of the deceased and the cause of death.
