Tsitsipas Overpowers De Minaur in Miami Open Second Round

Stefanos Tsitsipas continued his dominance over Alex de Minaur with a 6-3 7-6 (7-3) victory in the second round of the Miami Open on Friday. The Greek, now ranked 51st, needed just one hour and 41 minutes to dispatch the Australian world No.6.

De Minaur, who has now lost 14 of their 16 meetings since 2017, struggled to convert his chances. He failed to capitalize on two break-point opportunities, while Tsitsipas converted his sole break point. Tsitsipas won 98% of his first-serve points and fired five aces to de Minaur's two.

Tsitsipas will next face No.28 seed Arthur Fils for a place in the last 16. De Minaur, who reached the quarter-finals at the Australian Open and won the Rotterdam Open earlier this year, has now suffered early exits in Mexico, Indian Wells, and Miami.
