The countdown to one of rugby league's biggest events has begun, with today marking 100 days to go until the Rugby League World Cup 2026. The tournament will be broadcast live, free and exclusively on Seven and 7plus Sport from Thursday, 15 October to Sunday, 15 November 2026.
Blockbuster Opening Match
Kicking off with a blockbuster clash between Australia and New Zealand at Sydney's Allianz Stadium, Seven's month-long coverage will showcase the very best of international rugby league with 18 men's, 15 women's and 20 wheelchair matches.
Host Nations and Teams
Hosted by Australia, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand, the Rugby League World Cup 2026 will feature 26 teams from around the world, including England, Tonga and Samoa.
