Trainer Jamie Marsh will have three representatives in the final of the Winter Sprint (400m) at Greyhounds WA Mandurah this Friday. Elite Deluxe, Our Ozzie Salute, and Moo Move have all qualified for the trophy decider.
Heat Winners and Qualifiers
Elite Deluxe and Our Ozzie Salute secured their spots as heat winners, while Moo Move earned a berth as the runner-up to the fastest qualifier, Iconic Guess, in his heat. Iconic Guess clocked the fastest time of the heats at 22.30 seconds.
Elite Deluxe's Performance
Elite Deluxe led all the way from box one to win by three-quarters of a length in 22.53 seconds. The victory was a commanding display of early speed and sustained pace.
Our Ozzie Salute's Win
Our Ozzie Salute emerged from the pack around the 150-metre mark and then slipped away to win comfortably in 22.32 seconds. The performance highlighted the dog's ability to find a gap and accelerate.
Moo Move's Heat
Moo Move began well from box eight to lead the first half of his heat but could not hold out Iconic Guess. As they rounded the turn, Iconic Guess surged to the front and then kicked away to win by two lengths in 22.30 seconds.
Farmer Russell Wins Other Heat
The remaining heat was taken out by Farmer Russell, which pushed past the leading Bolt Of Fun in the back straight and then held on to claim the race by a length in 22.42 seconds.
