Strange was instrumental in the win, scoring a powerful try, setting up one of Sebastian Kris's double, recording two line-break assists, seven tackle busts, and an offload. The performance has significantly boosted his chances of being selected for NSW in State of Origin Game II.
Dominant Display Ends Losing Streak
The Raiders controlled the contest from start to finish, ending a seven-game losing streak against the Cowboys. The victory keeps Canberra within striking distance of the top eight, providing a much-needed boost to their season.
Sebastian Kris crossed for a double but was forced off late with a neck injury. Kaeo Weekes also scored a first-half try, giving the Raiders a lead at the break.
