Brett Lee has been inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The former fast bowler was honoured for a career that spanned two decades and saw him consistently bowl at speeds exceeding 150 kilometres per hour.
Speaking after the announcement, Lee credited legendary bowler Dennis Lillee for playing a pivotal role in his development. He noted that Lillee's guidance helped him maintain his pace and longevity in the sport.
Lee described his greatest achievement as being able to bowl at 150km/h for 20 years. He expressed gratitude for the support he received throughout his career, which enabled him to perform at the highest level.
The induction ceremony took place on December 28, 2025, at the MCG, where Lee also joined the commentary box to discuss his career with broadcaster Ben Cameron.
