Adelaide Crows young gun Daniel Curtin was stretchered off the training track during a pre-season session on Monday morning, clutching at what could be a serious knee injury. The 20-year-old has been one of the Crows' best this off-season after a breakout 2025 campaign.
It is understood Curtin was injured in a wrestling drill at Alberton, which resulted in him grabbing his knee. He was stationary for a significant period of time before the vehicle stretcher was brought onto the ground.
This could be a season-defining blow for the Crows after Curtin was seemingly ready to take the next step as a midfield option. Adelaide finished minor premier last year but was eliminated in straight sets after being exposed through the middle of the ground by Collingwood and Hawthorn.
The Crows start their season with the Magpies at the MCG on Saturday, March 14.
