Ribs Lane, the popular Perth smokehouse chain, has officially opened its third venue in Forrestfield, drawing up to 120 carnivores to its launch event on Tuesday. Located at 20 Strelitzia Avenue, the new smokehouse welcomed guests with an extensive feast featuring signature dishes including piles of ribs, beef brisket, beef cheek sandwiches, burgers, and loaded rolls.
One ambitious diner took on the venue's 15-minute smoked meat platter challenge, providing entertainment for onlookers. Live cartoon portraits by Swaglord Savannah kept guests smiling, while DJ Sylvester provided the soundtrack for the evening.
Attendees were treated to a live pizza-making showcase in front of the venue's large feature pizza oven. The on-site microbrewery was also in action, with guests washing down their meals with in-house brewed beers.
Forrestfield is the third Ribs Lane location in Perth, following existing venues in Mount Lawley and Subiaco. The launch event was captured in photographs by Alan Chau for The West Australian.
