Perth lifestyle and fashion influencer Rahnee Bransby has revealed her yellow diamond engagement ring to her 219,000 Instagram followers after her partner, Jian, proposed last week. The proposal took place last Thursday, with Bransby sharing the news on Monday via a video of the moment.
On Tuesday evening, Bransby posted a series of photos showcasing the ring, describing it as “beyond everything” she had ever dreamt of. She wrote, “Speechless and in absolute awe of my yellow diamond and cannot fathom I get to wear this for the rest of my life.”
Coloured diamonds are among the world’s most valuable gems, and according to The Perth Mint, only one carat out of every 10,000 carats of mined diamonds is a yellow diamond, making the gem rare. The ring was created with the help of Subiaco jeweller Diamond Collective, who said the special diamond was meant for Bransby.
Friends and fellow influencers congratulated Bransby in the comments, with Julia Edwards, married to Freo Dockers player Bailey Banfield, calling it “the most exciting news.” Jian added that Diamond Collective was the “easiest & most genuine team to bring this together.”
