A man has died after a truck collided with a car in Melbourne's south-east on Thursday morning.
Victoria Police said the truck was travelling west on Wellington Road, Rowville, when it hit a vehicle turning right onto Wellington Road from Braeburn Parade just before 9am.
It is the fifth life to be lost on Victorian roads this year, according to police.
"It is believed the truck also collided with two other vehicles, before a third vehicle was damaged after a traffic light pole fell on it," police said in a statement.
The truck driver, who was also uninjured, is assisting police as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
They are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
