Holly Ramsay, daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, married British Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty on Saturday at Bath Abbey in the UK. Gordon Ramsay walked his daughter down the aisle, describing himself as “truly lucky” to gain an “incredible son-in-law”.
The wedding was attended by the Beckham family, Holly’s mother Tana, and her siblings Megan, Jack, Matilda, Oscar and Jesse. However, Adam’s parents were notably absent, reportedly estranged from their son. Only Adam’s sister Beth represented his family.
According to The Sun, Gordon Ramsay’s speech at the reception appeared to reference the family rift. He commented on Holly’s beauty, told Adam he was a “lucky man”, and added: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.” He also allegedly said to Holly: “Shame you don’t have the same.”
Adam’s rumoured feud with his mother, Caroline, reportedly escalated last month after she was not invited to Holly’s hen party, which Victoria Beckham attended. During his own speech, Adam praised his swim coach, Mel Marshall, describing her as “everything”, “grounding and inspiring”, and “like a mum”.
The couple announced their engagement in September 2024, with Adam expressing excitement about joining the Ramsay family. After the wedding, he changed his Instagram name to Adam Ramsay Peaty.
