A Canberra florist has revealed she unknowingly arranged the wedding flowers for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his partner Jodie Haydon. LouLou Moxom said she had no idea she played a role in the Prime Minister’s special day until official wedding photos were released to the public.
Moxom explained that the order was placed by a mystery man who gave false names for the couple, claiming the bride and groom were called Matthew and Maree. She was told the flowers were needed for a small backyard wedding, with no indication she was arranging blooms for the nation’s leader.
The Prime Minister’s wedding was kept under tight security, with suppliers kept in the dark about the true identity of the couple. Albanese became the first Australian PM to get married while in office. He and Haydon tied the knot during a small ceremony at The Lodge in Canberra on Saturday afternoon.
