Blueheath Retirement Village in Port Stephens Nears Sell Out

The final stage of homes at Blueheath at the Bower in Medowie is under construction, with developer Principle Living aiming to complete the 112-home retirement village by June. An open day on April 11 drew strong interest from downsizers and retirees.

Principle Living operations and sales manager David Kelly said the event attracted a steady flow of visitors eager to see the amenities and speak with residents. With 19 homes remaining, priced from $740,000, buyers can inspect the finished product and plan their move with certainty.

Kelly noted a sense of urgency among buyers, as only a limited number of homes are left in the established community. The village includes a clubhouse, indoor heated pool, gym, bowling green, library, games room, workshop, and community gardens.

Separately, Principle Living is developing The Hermitage, a 300-home land lease community for over-55s at the former Stonebridge Golf Course in Cessnock. The $200 million project will reinstate the golf course and offer resort-style amenities, with details on course configuration and public access to be released later this year.
