Emergency Response Mobilised for Baskerville Truck Incident
Emergency services have launched a major rescue operation in Baskerville, north east of Perth, after a rubbish truck rolled onto its side on Monday morning, trapping the driver inside the vehicle.
The incident occurred around 10.45am on Monday, November 10, 2025, prompting a significant emergency response to Weir Road in the Perth Hills suburb.
Rescue Operation Underway
St John WA has deployed four ambulances to the scene, with multiple fire trucks also attending the serious crash. According to a Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman, the 57-year-old driver became trapped when the vehicle rolled over.
Firefighters are currently working to remove the roof of the truck to access the driver, whose legs are understood to be pinned following the rollover. Paramedics remain on standby, ready to provide immediate medical treatment for potential injuries once the driver is freed from the wreckage.

Authorities have confirmed that the driver, identified as Caleb Runciman, remains conscious and breathing while rescue crews work to extricate him from the overturned vehicle.
