Known as the 'Mood Boosting Nutritionist', Fedele joined The Morning Show to share her take on Turkish-style eggs, a protein-packed dish featuring creamy herbed yoghurt, perfectly cooked eggs and warming spices.
Ready in less than 10 minutes, the recipe is ideal for busy mornings, leisurely weekend breakfasts or meal prepping ahead of a hectic week. With plenty of protein and flavour, it's a simple way to start the day on a nutritious note.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1.5 cups Greek yoghurt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tsp lemon juice + 1 tsp zest
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1.5 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp cumin
- Salt & black pepper
- Chopped dill
- 2 tsp chilli oil (optional)
- 2–4 slices sourdough, toasted
Method
- In a bowl, mix yoghurt, garlic, lemon juice/zest, paprika, cumin, cayenne, olive oil, salt & pepper. Set aside.
- Boil or poach your eggs to your liking.
- Spread yoghurt on toast, top with eggs, drizzle spiced oil and chilli oil (if using), and sprinkle fresh herbs.
