A man has died in hospital after being pulled from the surf on Queensland's Gold Coast last night.
Police say the man and two other men got into trouble while in waist-deep water at Coolangatta beach around 6:00pm.
Ambulance officers performed CPR and the men were taken to hospital.

A man in his forties was pronounced dead at Tweed Heads hospital.
