Couple Injured in Logan Drive-By Shooting

An 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were injured in a drive-by shooting early Friday morning in Park Ridge, south of Brisbane. Emergency services responded to a home on Baileys Ln just before 1:30am after reports of gunfire.

The man sustained a neck wound and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition. The woman suffered a leg injury and was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.

Police have declared a crime scene and are investigating the incident. Authorities stated there is no ongoing threat to the public. CCTV footage captured a motorbike turning a corner before approximately eight gunshots were heard, after which the bike sped away.
