A jet ski crash at Eastern Beach in Geelong, Victoria, led to a mass brawl on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred around 2:15pm when a jet ski carrying a man and a woman skidded onto the sand near the swimming area.
The two occupants suffered minor injuries that did not require medical treatment. Police reported that the male rider then became involved in a physical altercation with bystanders, though no injuries resulted from the fight.
Authorities are investigating whether speed was a factor in the crash. Victoria Police reminded jet ski riders to adhere to speed restrictions near swimming areas, especially as warmer weather attracts more beachgoers.
Police have asked anyone who witnessed the crash or has video footage to come forward.
