A 19-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car outside a shopping centre in Perth's south-east. The incident occurred about 11:30pm on Saturday at the Bentley Plaza car park on Albany Highway, near John Street.
The pedestrian was critically injured and taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital, where she later died. The driver of a Hyundai i30 hatchback, also 19, is being questioned by police.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers.
