Police are appealing for public assistance to locate three men on the NSW most wanted list as part of Operation Roam. The annual operation, which began on Monday, aims to leverage community information to capture fugitives.
Nathan Glover, 20, is wanted by detectives in connection with an alleged serious assault in the Illawarra region in July last year. Matthew Tune, 32, is being sought for an alleged assault and robbery in south Tamworth in 2012.
Hisham Touba, 36, is wanted for an alleged aggravated robbery at Prestons in Sydney's southwest in December 2001. Assistant Commissioner Peter Barrie emphasised the importance of community support in capturing these individuals.
Operation Roam, running annually since 2011, aims to tap into community knowledge. Crime Stoppers deputy chairman Peter Price noted that information received through the program helps solve a crime every 11 hours.
