Celebrity chef and TV personality Luke Hines is combining fitness, food and mental health awareness as he joins this year’s Push-Up Challenge with a viral high-protein recipe taking social media by storm.
The former MKR star stopped by The Morning Show to whip up his now-famous Protein Chop Salad while encouraging Australians to get involved in the 2026 Push-Up Challenge, Australia’s largest mental health and fitness event.
Hines, who has built a following around healthy, protein-packed meals and fitness content, said the challenge is about far more than exercise, helping spark conversations around mental health while raising awareness and support for organisations including Lifeline and headspace.
To help fuel the effort, Luke Hines shared his viral Protein Chop Salad, packed with protein-rich ingredients designed to keep Australians energised throughout the challenge.
