David Harbour Breaks Silence on Lily Allen's Break-Up Album Allegations

David Harbour has finally addressed the allegations made by his ex-wife, Lily Allen, in her 2025 studio album, West End Girl. The Stranger Things actor described the experience as “weird” in an interview with Variety published today.

Harbour, 51, acknowledged Allen's right to create art from her personal experiences, stating, “I do believe that it is the privilege of every artist to use their experience to create art, and so I respect her for doing that.” However, he declined to directly deny the cheating accusations, noting that stories are complex and that his own experience differed from hers.

The actor emphasized his focus on his craft, particularly his upcoming role in the HBO series DTF St. Louis, which required a physical transformation. He refused to elaborate further on his private life, saying, “I can’t really say that much more. It’s my private life.”

Allen, 41, released West End Girl in October 2025, months after the couple's separation was revealed in February. The album includes tracks like Dallas Major, where she implies Harbour was a “sex addict” and references an open relationship. In P**sy Palace, she alleges finding a stash of sex toys and condoms, while 4chan Stan mentions a receipt from Bergdorf Goodman for a handbag purchased in May 2024.

Allen filed for divorce in September 2025. She previously told Perfect Magazine that the album reflects real events from her life, adding, “Two people who were once together are not together. And that’s really sad.”
