Two WA Players Win $2.31m Each in Rare Saturday Lotto Jackpot

Two Western Australians have become overnight multi-millionaires after winning division one in Saturday Lotto's rare $12 million jackpot draw. Each ticketholder pocketed more than $2.31 million.

The winning tickets were purchased at The Lucky Charm in Victoria Park and through Lotterywest Play Online. Lotterywest said on Monday it was still awaiting contact from the winners.

Spokeswoman Sarah Dawson noted the significance of the draw, as Saturday Lotto jackpots are extremely rare. “It’s only the fifth time in the past 20 years we’ve seen Saturday Lotto jackpot, which makes these wins even more special,” she said.

Nationally, the draw produced six division one winners, including one in New South Wales and three in Queensland. WA players also celebrated eight division two wins, each worth more than $12,800.

All profits from Lotto tickets sold support WA communities through Lotterywest grants. A $120,000 grant is currently supporting the 2026 Joondalup Festival.
