Urgent Recall: Little Creatures Hazy Lager Cans May Burst

A recall alert has been issued for Little Creatures’ Little Hazy Lager, sold in 375ml cans across several Australian states. The alert from Food Standards Australia New Zealand warns that affected products may contain excess alcohol and carbonation, leading to over-pressurisation of the can. This could cause the can to burst, potentially resulting in injury.

The recall applies to batches with a best before date of 10/11/2025. These were sold at Dan Murphy’s and BWS in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and Western Australia. They were also available at IGA and Independent liquor stores in NSW, and at Coles in WA.

Customers who purchased the beer are urged not to open or drink the product and to dispose of it safely. Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice. Food Standards also advise contacting Beer, Spirits & Wine Pty Ltd for safe disposal instructions and to arrange reimbursement.
