Stolen Delivery Truck Found Empty, $50k Cargo Missing

A stolen delivery truck has been found abandoned, but police are still searching for about $50,000 worth of cargo it was carrying. The white Isuzu was taken from outside a home on Barbette Rd in Willetton, Perth, around 8.30am on Tuesday while the driver was making a delivery.

WA Police released footage showing a fridge flying out of the back of the truck onto a suburban street shortly after the theft. In the thief's haste, a tail lift was left down, dragging along the road.

The abandoned truck was recovered by Cannington Detectives more than 20km away on Brand Rd in High Wycombe around 10pm on Wednesday. However, the $50,000 worth of white goods and electronics have not been found.
