A Queensland tradie has confronted a teenage intruder in his home, armed with a hunting knife, after receiving a security alert while at work. The incident occurred at Darcy McInnes' home in Mackay around 12:45 pm on November 10.

Home CCTV footage shows a masked young man climbing over a verandah railing and forcing open the back door. McInnes rushed home from nearby work, taking a hunting knife with him.
